The small base rim with a tin setting bears the spherical fluted jug, with a short cylindrical neck and curved handle. The tin lid has a turning knob and a finial decorated with rosettes. The belly and the neck have double blue lines running along the circumference, between which are spiral lines of leaved foliage and flowers. Painted in blue, green and yellow, contoured in manganese, against a white background. The two sides bear the inscription HANS MEIER and the date 1650.
