The gradually bulging body stands on a ring, which is supported by a broad, horny, splaying foot. The body continues in a long neck and ends in a wavy top rim, divided into two parts. The foot is gilt in a broad stripe the foot and the whole body is covered with a pattern of an oriental car-pet, painted in high enamel and showing gilt, historicizing, oriental-Hungarian stylised flowers, (for the donation registry of Henrik Giergl, see IM Archives KLT 482/1: diszkorsó talpon, arannyal konturált színes zománcfestésésel, perzsa motivumokban /ornamental carafe upon a foot, in polychrome enamel contoured with gold, with Persian motifs/).
