The broad, conical foot supports a ring that holds the horn-shaped cup. The rim of the foot is gilt, painted in white and blue, transparent and opaque, high enamel, with historicizing Hungarian, stylised floral motifs. The cup also shows similar motifs like cornflowers, pomegranates, and rose variants. The top rim is gilt the motifs are also contoured with gold. Both technically and artistically, the object is an outstanding representative of historicizing, everyday glass pieces, decorated with polychrome enamel painting.
