The base of the crucifix is a so called Adam's skull on a blue marbled base. On the trunk, growing out of a skull, a snake is coiled at his head is the apple. The wooden crucifix with the earthenware corpus fits into the trunk. Christ has a crown of thorns on his head, which is turned to the right. He wears a blue loin-cloth. There are blood drops on his hands, feet and breast. The glaze has a yellow shade, coloured with blue, green and manganese. There is a black HP mark the bottom of the base. It is presumably a model for the sculptor Antal Schweiger, who was active in Holics between 1756-1768.
