On the blue leaf—among red roses and irregularly shaped, blue grid-patterned floral fields—are three large fields: in the middle a rectangular one, and on either side a square-shaped one with corners curving inwards. These fields are framed in brownish-red. In the central field sits a young couple in the field on one side sits a young man and in the field on the other a lady. Behind the three figural fields, quodlibet-like, other depictions can be made out. On the verso a house can be seen on a small island. In the upper third of the sticks there is painted floral decoration, and on the guard-sticks amidst scallops and flowers there is a small figure. Many kindred features link this modestly executed piece with the fan MAA inv. no. 57.879.
