The leaf, which is framed by gilded and coloured flowers, scallop motifs and meander, depicts a company enjoying themselves on a small island. In the middle, in front of a simple building, sits a young girl, her apron full of roses. Her young man is bending over her her lady-friend stands behind her. From behind the building a young man leans out, a shepherd's crook in his hand. On the right side of the island is another young man, sitting, and also with a shepherd's crook in his hand on the left edge a lady is fishing. In the background is undulating countryside with houses, and on the horizon the sky is turning pink. On the verso a pair of lovers sits in the middle of an island. The sticks, which give a continuous surface when opened, display a broad, zigzag latticework band on which flowers and musical instruments can be seen. Underneath it, and integrated with it, are torches, quivers and flags bound with ribbon in a field formed from four rhombuses. On the upper part of each guard-stick is the figure of Minerva (?).
