On the sticks, which are moderately rounded at the top and embellished with openwork and stylized plant ornamentation, there is a coloured lithograph: the entrance pavilion of the 1873 Vienna World Exhibition with a park in front of it and promenading figures. At the bottom is an inscription: WELTAUSSTELLUNG 1873 WIEN. The two guard-sticks are painted black. A thin black silk cord and tassel are attached to the handle.
