Guthrie, the illustrator and the master of the ex libris, founded a separate printing house for editing art publications. His apparent decorative talent in this case presents a dynamic, swirling line uniting the romantic figure of a young lady freeing a caged dove, with the stylized floral ornaments and the frame of the text. Guhtrie's study and ars poetica was published in the special issue of the magazine „A Gyűjtő” (The Collector) on Ex libris in 1913.
