The long, rectangular, lined door mount has a curved top and is pierced with stylized smoke springing in a twisted way from the flame of a lamp. There is a keyhole on the right, protruding part, and a hole for the door knob. The door fittings by Theodore Lambert were purchased by the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts at the 1900 Paris International Exhibition, together with an armchair (Inv.No. 5923) and a shelf (Inv.No. 5404). The latter has a pierced decoration similar to those on the panels. The series was already exhibited at the 1899 Paris Salon.
