A horizontal prismatic casket, with a folding top. It is covered with mother-of-pearl plates, while the edges are covered with ivory. The top is short, forming a truncated pyramid and covered with mother-of-pearl. Its top is decorated with a miniature watercolour landscape, painted on paper, placed in a stamped brass frame, showing the inscription: "Wien mit Glacis und Basteien". Unmarked nevertheless, on the basis of close analogies it can be attributed to Balthasar Wigand (1770-1846) a painter of miniatures from Vienna. A close analogy, made by the same master, is an enamel picture "Wien mit den Bastein und Glacis", was once in the collection of Peter Vay.
