The ball-shaped, suddenly narrowing jug has a long, beak-like spout and a stirrup handle on one side, leading down to the body in a twisted snake tail. The surface of the jug is bluish-greenish-yellow, matte both on the inside and on the outside. The shape follows eighteenth century Persian models, and is identical with an iridescent glass made by Leo Valentin Pantocsek in the 1860s (see here).
