A broad, deep dish with a narrow rim. The rim is decorated with delicate foliage the border of the interior shows four small rosettes with four clusters of stylized floral foliage in between. The coat of arms of the Fontanas of Venice appears in a cartouche in the middle: the azure oval shield is charged with a white well. Seven gold flames decorate the azure chief, with three molets and an eagle-winged helm with bars below. Voit Pál dated this piece to 1560, on the basis of the coat of arms (cf. Ref.). Ilona Pataky-Brestyánszky is also of the opinion that it was made during the second half of the 16th century in Faenza (cf. Ref.).
