This drawing is probably part of a series that was published in the first volume of the periodical Magyar Iparművészet (Hungarian Applied Arts). It depicts a naked female figure with a flower, the symbol of feminity. This card shows a calla, which, being a symbol of the female, was a popular flower at the turn of the century.
