The elongated, bell-shaped body has a circular base there are six hollow extensions applied while hot to the top of the body, close to the neck. The extensions enclose the long neck, which ends in a short, splaying top rim, supported by a ring. The simple bottle of Egyptian origin is decorated with extensions resembling to the so-called trunk bottles (Rüsselbecher), a French type fairly common in the 5th-7th century. The whole surface of the bottle is iridescent.
