The cylindrical body, which slightly flares towards the top, is followed by a long neck, on which sits a disc-shaped, rimmed mouth. The upper part of the body and the lower part of the mouth are connected on both sides by vertical handles that seem to grow out of the body. The design follows that of the stamnium, a type of Roman glass from the 3rd and 4th centuries. The entire surface is iridescent.
