Each of the four splaying cabriole legs in supported with a carved petal, and decorated with acanthus leaves and palmettes. They stand on a prism with rosette decoration. The legs are joined diagonally by voluted stretchers of scrolling acanthus leaf decoration in the middle a carved sunflower and lambrequin. An unidentified coat-of-arms appears in a cartouche in the middle of the front frieze: an oval shield with a lion rampant and two greyhound supporters. The shield is ensigned with a five-pointed, leaved crown. The frieze of the table is decorated with plaited flowers. According to Hedvig Szabolcsi, console tables of similar type were drawn by Pierre Lepautre. Similar coats-of- arms can be found among the drawings of Louis Fordrin.
