The chair stands on four curved, fluted legs the sides of the trapezoid seat are wavy, curved. The top of the back support is also curved, with a pierced, carved, flowery latticework. There is a stencilled marking in ink, on the bottom upholstery of the seat «Schmidt Miksa / Budapest I V. Lipót Körut 3,4,6 Rudolf – tér 2 / Báthory utcza 3. / Friedrich Otto Schmidt / Wien».
