The bottom with two drawers stands on four straight, prismatic legs. The drawer panels are decorated with Louis XVI-style mounts. The middle part closes with a cylinder, concealing a draw flap. The inside is equipped with an ink- painted open compartment, with a mirror at the back, and two drawers on each side. The compartment can be drawn out, revealing two secret drawers in the back of the cabinet. There is a broad drawer just below the top part, decorated with pictures - a landscape with ruins, castles and a river - painted in ink. The top part has two doors with glass windows, with shelves inside. It is surmounted by a tympanum, closed by an umbrella motif on each side. The surface of the cabinet is covered with delicate ornaments painted in ink, showing serpent pairs, and thin gar-lands of leaves, flowers and blossoms.
