The brooch is shaped of Gothic and Neo-Renaissance motifs, with a lion mask central part, enclosed by pierced ear, shell, foliage, filial, ogee and ribbon motifs. The central motif resembles somehow to door knockers. At the bottom, there is a lobed, jointed pendant with rosettes and two pearls. Pendants consisting of chains, four-lobed middle part and a pearl at the bottom hang down on both sides. The curved, set pearl "knocker" is placed on the protruding middle element.
