The paper plates are covered with brown-painted calf. There is a red framework of maroquin leather application, enriched with gilt geometrical motifs, placed between gilt double lines. There is a gilt rosette in each corner. The surface of the front is framed by a line of urns, with a flower and leaf decoration in the corners. The middle has a lozenge-shaped, red maroquin leather application, gilt with geometrical motifs. The saddle is divided into seven fields of gilt rosettes they are separated by red maroquin leather applications, framed by golden lines. The second field shows the gilt title: STUTZ: / BESCHREIBU[NG] / DES / GOLD. U. SILBE[R] / BERGWERKES. The French style endpapers are of pink coated paper with gilt leather frame. The headband is sewn in blue and white thread, the ribbon is of pink silk. With gilt engravings.
