The boards have double borders of undulating lines and foliage they enclose a rosette with a stamped lattice decoration at both the top and the bottom. The triple-banded back is decorated with lattice and foliage motifs. The book can be closed by four leather ties. It belongs to the so-called "Erasmus-type" of Hungarian Renaissance book bindings, according to Eva Sz. Koroknay. Common features of such bindings are a slight German influence and the stamped motifs.
