An asymmetrical, long pot with a relief, naked female figure at the two ends, among draperies and roses. Inside, there is a vesica-shaped copper inset, with two handle rings. The object was made in Neo-Baroque style, recalling large, eighteenth century table centres in its lines and reliefs however, while the original pieces were always made of precious metals, the middle-class customer of the late nineteenth century was already satisfied with cheaper ones: nickel and copper.
