The 1905 exhibition of the National Hungarian Royal School of Applied Art
The exhibition held by National Hungarian Royal School of Applied Art in 1905, despite marking the school’s 25th anniversary, was no larger than its previous exhibitions. The two decorative classes – sculpture and painting – and the general subjects were confined to a very modest area, as was the work of alumni. The interior design class was the latest addition to the school’s areas of activity. The items on display were little more than name cards from which the public and former graduates could see that the school was educating serious artists and teachers of craft trades as well as applied artists. The applied-art exhibitors were: Sándor Apáti Abt, Lajos Jámbor, Bálint Fehérkuthy, Salamon Winterstein, László Zentai, Károly Szabó, József Valuska, Dezső Schuszlik, István Oetzelberger, Dezső Klein, Mihály Biró, Béla Radnai, Károly Székely, Kálmán Bódy, Gyula Pintér, József Koreny, Géza Nasch, Mihály Nagy, Béla Lukácsy, András Ruff, Kálmán Bődy, Ödön Szamolovszky, István Gách, Károly Wallmann, Miklós Vadász and Lajos Majorovics.
