Rörstand Porcelain Factory, Lidköping
A faience factory founded in 1726 in the Rörstrand Castle in Stockholm. From 1850 it also produced porcelain and decorative tiles. Between 1895 and 1915 Alf Wallander worked as the firm’s art director. The popularity of the factory’s products was shown by the Grand Prix awarded to it at the Paris International Exhibition of 1900.
