National Exhibition, Pécs, 1907
A national industrial and agricultural exhibition in Pécs ran from 15 May to 15 September 1907. Its patrons were Archduke Frederick and Archduchess Isabella, and the steering committee was chaired by Miklós Zsolnay. The exhibition directorate invited the Hungarian Applied Arts Association to take part. The original plan was to place the applied arts in the industrial hall, but eventually a separate art pavilion was built for the works of both fine art and applied art. The exhibitors included the Zsolnay company of Pécs, Géza Maróti (Rintel), Róbert Nádler, Gusztáv Jancsurák, Ö. Fülöp Beck, imperial and royal stained glass maker Miksa Róth, Jenő Fischof, István Sovánka, Sándor Apáti Abt, Béla Pálinkás, the Halas lace worshop led by Árpád Dékáni, the proprietor of the Herend works, Jenő Farkasházi-Fischer and the Gödöllő weaving workshop led by Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch.
