Aladár Árkay
He gained his degree in architecture from the Technical University of Budapest. The styles embraced in his oeuvre include historicism, Art Nouveau with specifically Hungarian elements, and various aspects of modernism. The Budapest buildings he designed include the Babocsay villa in Andrássy Road, the Makai villa in Ráth György Street, the Buda Vigadó (concert hall), the Reformed Church on Városligeti Avenue and the Varosmajor Roman Catholic Church.
