The bottom is supported by two curved double legs that end in hoofs and is divided into two branches. The legs are joint by a stretcher, richly carved with rococo flowers. The frieze is pierced with shells and leaves. The top has curved, tapering panels on all sides. The folding plate is lined with carnation velvet. The whole surface is decorated with rich rocaille carving.
The above characteristics as well as the material suggest that the place of manufacture in this case is identical with that of the ornamental cupboard of inv.nr. 51.1762, and with the palm table of inv.nr. 58.315. This assumption is also supported by the fact that the place of origin is in each case the Emmer palace. The archive photo of the object can be found in the Archives Department of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts (FLT 5897 and 5992).
