Snails, brightly coloured birds, and thin-leaved blossoming boughs among huge leaves with turning edges. Fruits and bunches of flowers on the border.
The word verdure, of French origin, means a tapestry full of trees, flowers, leaves and animals. The first pieces of this type go back to the 16th century.
