The round, short foot supports a flat, bun-shaped body, with a steep, slim, long neck. The top rim is equipped with a copper ring. The surface is enamelled in violet and bluish shades. A vase with similar shape, though somewhat smaller is exhibited under Cat. No. 9.202. Both vases were probably exhibited at the 1902 Turin International Applied Arts Exhibition, where Jakab Rapoport was awarded a gold medal. The picture of a similar Rapoport-vase, exhibited at the 1900 Christmas exhibition, is published in Magyar Iparművészet Vol.3, 1900, p.43.
