The foot of the large vase is straight, supporting a slightly bulging body. The surface shows a low relief scene of a kneeling girl picking flowers under a tree with split trunk. Her hair is combed into a scrolling diabolo knot and she is holding a large lily stem in her right hand. Behind the lily group a leafy bush and a path appear in the distance. There are two lines of clouds in the sky. The picture is simple the relief effect is enhanced by the colouring. The background is purple and golden brown, while the protruding surfaces are shaded with lighter bronzish-gold. This vase was exhibited at the 1900 Paris International Exhibition, where Sándor Apáti Abt won a silver medal.
