The silk thread is steel blue at the bottom, enriched with transparent, yellow glass beads. On the rest of the surface the glass beads are thickly sewed into the material, which is red over a greyish-white base. There is an inscription, embroidered in gold letters, above the embroidered floral ornament: Bernhard Seybold 1824. The flowery field is closed by a fringe of blue and white beads. The crochet braids of beige silk thread can be tightened with a twisted string.
