The cylindrical bowl stands on a short, jointed foot. Its surface is painted with the half-portrait of a man, enclosed by gilt garlands of flowers and plants, the inscriptions says: "Hertzeg Bretzenheim Ferdinand, alapitoja es tulajdonosa a Regetzi Porcellan Gyarnak" (Duke Ferdinand Bretzenheim, the founder and owner of the porcelain works in Regec). Signed under the portrait: "Jos Paulus". the domed lid has a gilt ball finial. Impressed with maker's mark and date, on the bottom: "Regecz 846 ". Ferdinand Bretzenheim founded the porcelain and stoneware factory of Telkibanya in 1816, which operated on the territory of Regec.
