The rectangular tile was used as a border for wall surfaces. Its continuous pattern line shows one pine-like flower head in the middle and two laf ones on the sides, among coliling ribbons between the top and bottom border stripes with waves. The glassy, bright, transparent glaze reveals the whiteness of the original material, which was painted in protruding violet and light blue glazes, contoured by brown lines (double contour lines around the flowers). The drawing No. 4153 in the Zsolnay Décor Book V is probably the model for the square tile belonging to this border, showing identical flower and ribbon motifs.
