The table stands on four tapering, cylindrical, fluted and joined legs that join the top in an angle. The square top is inlaid with scattered chestnut leaves. The legs are joint by decorative, curved stretchers that create an irregular frieze, imitating chestnut leaves.

Stylistically, the piece described above can be connected to the tea table of Louis Majorelle, now in Macklowe Gallery (USA) the legs are identical, the frieze is analogous, only the top differs the one in the American private collection shows an inlaid bough with chestnut leaves (see: Alastair Duncan: Art Nouveau Furniture. London, 1982, ill. 36.).
