A deep plate with a broad rim. Its surface is decorated with an oriental garden picture, painted in green, violet brown, iron-red, purple and light blue, with golden outlines in places. The decoration is partly spread to the rim. The centre depicts a rose-tree, with two birds in cages hanging from it. There are butterflies among flowers. The decoration shows a European mingling of Japanese Arita (Kakiemon, Imari) and Chinese porcelain.
