A cylindrical body with a D-shaped handle and silver-gilt lid, supplied with a tumbler. The top rim is lined with opposing acanthus leaves the foot is decorated with a narrow line. The main decoration of the tankard is a chinoiserie scene of delicate Chinese figures, decorative trees, plants and objects.
