The cylindrical bowl is decorated with triple rings at the base and top and in between shows scenes in octagonal, four-lobed and hexagonal medallions. The bottom octagonal Medallion shows the Good Shepherd, with the inscription JOHANNIS X on the top of the door. In the four-lobed medal is St. Helen with a cross, surmounted by the inscription S. HELENA 1570 and the initials HH under her feet. There is a Baroque escutcheon, per pale, charged with a double-headed eagle in the sinister and three leaved coronets in the dexter half. The hexagonal medallion depicts the woman from Samaria, and bears the inscription DAT FRAIGEN AN /DM.PVCHT/ IOA. 4.
