The three slices have slightly curving steel sheets, which joined to the handle by a pierced knob, decorated with leaves. The handle itself is a broadening prism, with a slot in the middle the slot is decorated with pierced rosettes and chessboard inlays on both the right and left side of white and brown, sometimes green ivory. The finial is a jagged leaf with a pierced rosette, enclosed by two volutes.

The upper part of the meat knife is decorated with engraved gilt foliage. The handle is identical with those of the slices, although the volutes of the finial curve in different directions.

The long steel head of the fork splays about one-third of the way along its length. Slight differences in the decoration and material suggest that the five parts of the set were made at different times, probably to complete a previous set. (The possibility of falsification can also not be excluded.)

Similar pieces are the following: a four-piece set in a leather case, with a large gilt coat of arms at the end of the slice, in the treasury of Coburg Manor a fork and three slices, of which one is almost identical with those in the collection of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts, in the Deutsches Klingenmuseum of Solingen.
