The table stands on four straight, prismatic legs that joining the horizontal frieze in a curve. The frieze conceals a drawer on each side, with an ornament imitating cufic characters on the panels. There are trellis insets on both sides of the drawers. The border of the rectangular top is divided into square-fields the centre forms three squares, all with geometrical decoration. The table was made for export, meeting European demands, with typical oriental decoration.
