The round foot with a rim of spiky leaves is sup-ported by six winged lion figures. Three young, naked male figures stand over the foot, with three female lions beside them. The column leg is fluted in the middle, and there is a ring at the top, surmounted by a frieze of palmettes and sedge leaves. The round, malachite top is lined by a bronze decoration of leaves and string of pearls.
