The pendulum mechanism has a half-strike, cogwheel escapement. The case is painted in reddish -brown. The clock itself is supported by a tendril springing from the corners of the two broad feet, decorated with a young female bust below the dial, between the feet. The tendrils run around the case, stressed by bronze mounts. The back plate of the case repeats the same motif that breaks at the sides and ends in a pine-cone-like ornament at the top. The clock has a copper dial, painted in cold enamel. There are pointed, Arabic numerals, enriched with floral motifs (red morning glories). The arms are pierced.
