Szépírásfüzet

The paper plates are bound in paper stamped with pink, white, blue and green stripes and gilt flower and tendril motifs. The surface is framed with embossed gold-leaf ribbon there is an octagonal, black paper application in the middle. The blind-stamped frame of curves and dots shows a palmette and the inscription: F. OEFFNER 1830. The saddle is of newer red leather, the yellow endpapers are also new. The cover shows a coloured copper engraving, depicting the altar of friendship, flame bursts from a short plinth, decorated with garlands, placed under a cliff, with a soldier sitting in the foreground, at the foot of the cliff. The stone is written with the inscription Freund/schaft. Marked: Prag bei Pachmayer. There is a handwritten title below the engraving: Specimina Exercitationum Francisci Oeffner Budae 1830. The paper is marked with a watermark: L. S. 1828.
