The dark-stained plinth holds a standing, prismatic cupboard with two doors and a wavy front. The doors are decorated with alternating lines of standing rhomboids on rods, placed in standing rectangles above black squares. The richly ornamented inside is divided into three parts horizontally at the bottom, the three locked drawers are flanked by open shelves, creating the plinth for an inner, two-door cupboard. The inside two doors are inlaid with squares both on the inside and on the outside. The top part has an open shelf, divided into two parts. Marked on the lock with F.O. Schmidt, who prepared three versions of this drawing room cupboard, designed by Wilhelm Schmidt. Two of them were prepared with veneered outside, one of them with silver mounts, the third one - the piece described above - with white polished lacquer wood. This cupboard was exhibited at the 15th Exhibition of the Secession in Vienna, in 1903.
