The four spindle-shaped legs are shod with bronze. They enclose a kidney-shaped shelf. The broad, oval frieze contains three drawers with keyhole shields and inlaid strap work. The edge of the oval marble top is lined with a pierced, gilt bronze lattice frame. Signed on the right side of the frieze, in 4-5 mm capitals: OLONDE.
