The pear-shaped, moulded finial of the cover is painted red. The surface of the oval bowl is deco-rated with a purple medallion, enclosed by a gold wreath, on each side. One of the medallions depicts a portrait of a woman in a headdress, while the other shows the bust of a man in a top hat, both painted in gray. The bottom and the inner rim are lined with blue. The decoration of the cover is similar to that of the bowl. Marked with the marking of the Vienna manufacture and the impressed date: 802.
