The flat, hemispherical body stands on a broad, conical foot. The domed cover has a pear-shaped finial springing from a cord-like ring. Decorated with Neo-Renaissance ornaments of foliage and stylised flowers, the whole surface of the bowl is divided by stripes of gilt lines and white spots. The decoration recalls Renaissance goldsmiths' works.
