The hemispherical bowl with a rim slightly bent inwards stands on a broad, round foot. The domed cover has a ball finial. The foot shows a golden stripe and a white line of spots running all round the body is decorated with friezes of rosette-like motifs and lozenges. There is a gilt. Renaissance foliage between gilt stripes and white lines of spots on the cover. The decoration of the object recalls Renaissance goldsmiths' works.
