The stool stands on four short, splayed, fluted, cylindrical legs. On the short sides, the seat-rail is dented in a curved line it is decorated with a rosette in a square above the legs. The upholstery of the seat is stitched down with small ornamental nails the shape of the seat and the detachable cushion follows the shape of the rail.
