Napoleon in the uniform of a general, with the typical French shako on his head. The model was made by a French-born sculptor Pierre Devaranne, around 1820, in the foundry of Sayn, Germany, it was brought to Munkacs in 1834 by V. Willaschek, a German sculptor, where it was continuously copied up to 1843. A sample was exhibited at the Exhibition of Decorative Arts at Pest, initiated by Lajos Kossuth in 1843. The plinth is marked with cursives: MUNKATS.
