The piece has an oval shaped high base formed of clouds among them appear the heads of three angels. A snake with an apple in his mouth is wound around the blue globe above the clouds. The Virgin is standing on the crescent moon holding the Child in her arms and treads on the head of the snake. Her dress is ornamented with brightly coloured flowers, and she wears a blue cloak. The child has an orb in his lap. Mark on the base: H and a black C or G under it.
